B767 Air Canada Engine Failure,Madrid Barajas Airport Emergency Landing ...

A passenger plane belonging to Canada Air, which traveled from Spain to Canada, made an emergency landing to Madrid due to the tire's explosion on departure and the problem of an engine during the flight.

In the afternoon, it was recorded that Boeing 767-300 aircraft, which took off from the capital of Spain, Madrid to Toronto, Canada with 128 passengers, landed safely at the airport.

Spanish officials, who stated that the pilots demanded an emergency landing permit immediately after the take-off, stated that the plane returned in the Madrid region for a while, draining excess fuel, and then landed.

The Spanish Ministry of Defense also announced that an F-18-type f-18 aircraft fighter belonging to the Spanish Air Force was sent to the passenger plane to detect the latest situation in the landing gear of a plane with a flat tire.

While Air Canada was confirming the incident, the company spokesperson said, "Our plane, which is making the Madrid-Toronto flight with Air Canada AC837, encountered an engine problem right after its departure. One of the 10 tires of the plane was reported to have exploded on departure."

The spokesperson said that the plane can also travel with a single engine, but they prefer to return to the airport by declaring an emergency due to carrying 128 passengers.

Intensive security measures were taken before the landing of the plane at the airport.
